Just read on german Bild.de that Nicolas Kiefer has entered Masha's coaching-team. He will be part of her team in Doha and then he will also join her in LA for training.

wow very interesting!
Nicolas Kiefer has a great serve and he tends to rush the net with great volleys, I wonder if he'll use that tactic with Masha. Nice to see her changing it up a little bit

No other infos from that source but it says that the whole connection was established over Thomas Högstedt who was a former coach of Kiefer and they still have a pretty good relationship. I guess he will be either hitting partner or assistant coach, but I don't know exactly.

Der Kontakt zu Scharapowa kam über Kiefers ehemaligen Coach Thomas Högstedt zustande. Der Schwede ist seit 2010 Cheftrainer im Team der Russin.

No i like that shes changing things up, but sometimes hitting partners are just there for Masha to whack back to 
I really want to see her work on a plan b game or at least more shot variety to go along with her much improved movement over 2012 |

Poor Vladimir.  I will miss him. He was a passionate supporter and spent quite a lot of days Davai-ing her and sweating and biting nails.
