Another proof shows how brutal life on the tennis circus is. Lots of lower ranked players have to struggle with stresses, injuries, over expenses, overwhelming competitions and travelings that leave them having little money despite working hard. Moreover, most tennis players won't have the luxury of being tennis commentators like the stars ( Navratilova, Everts, Davenport, etc.), so there is little options for a life after tennis. Having no schooling and education due to a demanding sport schedule doesn't help either.



It's time for the WTA to adjust income earnings in regular tournaments and Slams to make sure top 100-200 players , who couldn't break the top 30, have a decent life after they retire.

The fact is that, the French language has been enriched by many scholars and writers from other countries, including African countries.

To claim that because you were born in France therefore you have a leg up on everybody else in other countries is nonsense.



Again, as I stated this before, attitude like yours is the reason why people shy away from learning the language.
English speaking countries people are more tolerant or acceptable of non-native speakers trying to learn the languages.
Even Italian, Spanish whose respective languages share the same latin root as French, would rather speak English than be subject to ridicule.

To be honest, that discussion was one of the peaks of 2011 on TF. It's legendary.

Well she does have a point, considering she was born and raised in France and is fluent in the language. And anyone with only basic school french knows 'petit-ami' means boyfriend.
