Imagine she had a serve. Broke like 8-9 times in the match. It´s not just the speed, it´s also the disguise and placement. It is very easy to read and comfortably to return.

Agree. She's tall, Serve's should be so much better than it is now. Dementieva never got it right and it cost her dearly. Seems it's hard to learn a good serve if you're not born with it.

I'm so proud of her. When she started crying I nearly followed suit. What an emotional fortnight with nearly everything and everyone going against her, and then she goes and defends a title for the first time in her career.

Right now I just don't even care that her play wasn't very good, just so happy she pulled this one out. Love you Vika.

I couldnt stop crying when she started crying after the win. Wow I feel so relieved now

She gave a beautiful speech and won over the crowd at the end
