It hurts how people are so mean to Vika Can't believe there are so many vile creatures in this world.
This will only make me hate it even more if Vika loses tomorrow

I just can't believe that topic is still on. Fuck everyone who doesn't believe her tbh. I just hope this makes her come with a brave attitude to the final and win it. I'm just so worried about Li and I don't really want another defeat in a GS final I had enough with the USO
Goooooo Gurl, let's send her some positive vibes

I wouldn't worry about how Vika will react to a hostile crowd. Keep in mind at the 09 French Open when the crowd started booing her, she booed right back.

Thankfully the Australian crowd is not quite as brutal. If Vika loses this I might have to ban myself from GM for the foreseeable future.

Wasn't this also when her mom was in the stands telling the French rowd to STFU?
And if she loses, I'm staying out of GM until Indian Wells.

I dont think anyone should worry too much about Vika. I think she will give it her best. If she doesnt win this, then its ok. To me Yes if she loses she will end up being world #2 but im fine with that as well. I mean i look at this as a bright side because i know she will continue to work even harder. I will always be a fan. I mean i have been when she wasnt in the top 10 yet. So yea, i wouldnt worry too much about it. I think Vika can move on and deal with it. I mean its a sport. You will have fans and you will have haters.

Re: *Vika Azarenka Cheering Thread* - Vikalume 4.
There are lots of comments about this medical timeout incident on Victoria Azarenka´s Facebook too. https://www.facebook.com/VictoriaAzarenka
"Vika sleep well, rest well, be strong, ignore all these stupid comments, do not be sad, stupid people, you feel confident, we support you, you can, and we'll see you tomorrow, our champion, strong and focused as always do better all, come on" (Google translation)
Peter Cooling So if vika has a health problem and its getting worse, then can she not get a time out? She had good reason to get the medical time out . How is that even cheating? She even explained in the interview what went wrong, and vika would never tarnish the sports. Everyone else can get time outs. Good luck for the final Vika
Adriana Eiermann All the best for the final. We keep our fingers crossed. Ir will a hard fight. Good luck. Think of your strength.
Arthur Chardon COME ON VIKA !! I'm with you for beat Na li in Finale of AO 2013 !!

Anyways, even if she loses, it'll still be an awesome week. Defending your 1st Slam and reaching the final is more than alright The only worrying thing is that unlike with many other players (like Pova), we really don't know what to expect from Na. She may be unplayable as well as terrible

Vika knows how to play Na. She will have to stay with Na until she looses her cool and start getting frustrated. I hope she comes out with a strong mindset instead of worrying about the crowd or anything and jus keep her focus until 'Game,Set and Match Miss Azarenka'

Re: *Vika Azarenka Cheering Thread* - Vikalume 4.
I'm already nervous
I'll be chugging coffee all night to be able to stay up for the final. It will be 2 a.m. here. I remember last year I made a pot of coffee at about 11:00 (when I would normally start thinking about going to bed).
Make it worth my while, Snickers.
Which reminds me... I need to go stock up on Snickers.

Living in the US, one of the most frustrating things about watching tennis is the way Espn always makes mountains out of molehills. I like both Vika and Sloane. if sloane had said she thought it was disrespectful that might be a story but I hate how the media here always try to make a player be mad about something if they're not...

Yes, for the first argument, I do think similarly. I think Victoria has now known how to play Li from an intelligent-tennis perspective and it all started in the YEC 2011.
I rememeber that I told you that you have better optimism than that when you once asked if 'Victoria was never going to defend a title in her career' -- I'm absolutely convinced and was since the start that it was going to be in Australia but it's really an agonizing nervous situation to be going to all this phase of waiting.
In the US for the first time ever I had 0 hope for Victoria and she created so much hopes during the match -- I have all my hopes in this one that she's going to finally have slam #2, she's defeated Li 4 consecutive times, 2 easy sets in the YEC and in 2 others in three sets where Li played at least very well in one of the 3 sets [...] I really hate these matches where everything seems sooooo... much in place for her to lift the winner's trophy but there's still this substantial doubt.
There's nothing Li does that Victoria can not technically or tatically counter -- even mentally, she's psychologically strong enough next to the likes of serena etc. against any player but Serena to suboordinate any version of Li under domination --
I'll have a nervous break-down if she doesn't win this and foretime I said I wouldn't be putting so much into tennis matches anymore.

Re: *Vika Azarenka Cheering Thread* - Vikalume 4.
I actually only just remembered Vika beat Li at the YEC a couple of months ago, which soothed my mind a little bit. I really hope Vika can play at full strength though, and she's going to have to serve well.
