I think it will be Peers, Bobusic, Rodionova, Rajicic and Myers with Moore, Hadzic and Sanders fighting it out for the last two assuming that last years junior champion is given a WC.

With good results at the playoff, players like Bains, Cabrera and Patterson can also put their hands up.

AMAZING! Could have played 12s this year. Good effort from Seone too, didn't expect her to beat Pits.

2012 junior champ (Townsend) said they offered her a QWC but she will not take it. The finalist (putintseva) is in the main draw.

Arina Rodi has an outside shot of getting directly in qualies

Interesting, I wonder if they will pick another top junior to give it to or just give it to one of our girls.

Another great week for Aiava. Be interesting to see how she and Mendez fare in the 16's this week.

Really hope this year they give all 8 to aussie girls... that being the case this is how i see things so far

Have been tuning in to the livestream a bit today and caught two quick interviews with Jess Moore and Priscilla Hon. Hon was a bit nervous about being interviewed but sounded sweet and excited about being in the playoff. Jess Moore sounded very relaxed. Can't wait for tomorrow. I don't think I'll be having a particularly productive day of study!

Four matches back to back, tomorrow is going to be a write-off.

Hope they cross to the other court a bit, would love to see Lizette and Priscilla a bit.

Anyone watching? Barty is flogging Ashley Keir 6-1 4-1.

Didn't realise Ashley Keir was so big. She makes Ash Barty look petite

I don't really care if players carry extra weight as long as they have game, but Ashley Keir seems like she could get up to her serve a bit better and being a bit lighter would help that I reckon. #amIprocoachorwhat?

I'm watching. Hard to tell Keir's level there because Ash was so dominant. But yeah, if she gets into shape will be a lot better around the court, she doesn't look naturally athletic so she'd probably need to pull the trigger early regardless.

Also how pointless are the interviews pre-match?

Yeah definitely needs to lose some weight
