Pretty good match bar the DFs. Some shady line calls for Petko, but she let it get to her way more than she should have.

What does "placi" mean in Serbian? It's what Petko's coach repeated at least 5 times when he came out in the 3rd set.

Tournaments (opportunities) like this have been available all throughout the year really if you think about it. Annoying that it's taken Venus a whole year to enter something like this. If you think about who she's had to beat, this field hasn't even been that weak compared to others throughout the year.

Venus really made hard work of that but such determination.Really pleased for her Nice to see Petkovic in a WTA semi final again, I hope she can get a good run of health and fitness in 2013. Such a sporting girl. |

Some horrendous line calls but great drama overall. I'm so happy Vee able to get to her first final of the year, it's about time! And now #25 so a seed for AO too. Now take home the title please! Good fight from Andrea too but she was a bit annoying with fistpumping on DF.

Awww, loved the leap of joy! However, her lower back needs treatment as soon as possible.

 Shut up. The line calls were fine. It was just Petkovic throwing a fit over nothing. Even the commentator said the balls were clearly in.
