If you write a simple SQL expression with this formula, it doesn't even work. You get an error. It's just a 'gotcha' question.

Parenthesis = the brackets
The way I see it, the 6/2 is basically a fraction in front of the parenthesis.
Therefore it is 3(2+1) = 9
