Great way to end a great season and I can't wait for 2012. Everything will be on Maria's racquet today(like it always is vs Vika), but my head tells me she'll lose, but oh well. I don't want her losing another final, so I guess this might be for the better

Slow hard courts favour Vika IMO, Clay courts favour Maria because of the footing.

Wondering if in the middle of the year Maria thought "if i made it to Istanbul, it would be a good year to end my tennis tournament with my fiancee"
now that they're break up, is it affect her? Is it remind her of Sasha? i mean, if i were Maria and i did really love Sasha, i will cry in the hotel in the middle of the night thinking Sasha supposed to watch and support me during the tournament, but it's just me, so.. #drama

Am I the only one who thinks that Maria needs to ballbash very well to win against Vika? I mean, in that 1st set at the USO she was playing first strike tennis, returning, serving beautifully and winning points quickly. The problem is that Maria isn't that good of a ballbasher anymore. Most of the times she has tried to ballbash this year, it's ended up being an UE-fest!

so rena's basically already in the final guys.
guess we have to face facts that she gets everything she wants 
nobodys gonna beat her in this form, even if she hasn't played for a month. i haven't lost faith in masha at all, but its depressing when the top 8 elite players can barely have a competitive set against rena |

True! If Serena plays well, none of the girls on tour can win more than 3 games. If Serena plays average, none of the girls on tour can take a set from her. There's simply too much power for them to handle! But I'll take a loss to Serena better than another loss to Vika!
