It's at the far side of the court. Why blame the umpire not the line judge. This goes to show you should challenge only when you are 90% sure not just for the sake of it.

Some don't like overruling the far line or it is possibly the chair didn't see it for some reason, like actually didn't see where the ball bounced.

This should be a lesson to players not to waste challenges early in the set.

Yes it was the far side, although we are not talking about mm but big fat cm/inches in this case.
We often see umpires overrule baseline calls, the far sideline isnt further than that.
