Wow. Not sure why she retired, but amazing from Maria.
Even the ES commentators started throwing shade at Kerber for retiring. That's all I'm saying.
Regardless of that, Maria played amazing. She could barely miss.

Anyway, expected beatdown, think Angie deserved to win a game or two though 
She really needs to buy a serve or she'll never beat big power hitters playing well. You can't be on the defensive on every rally in your own service game. |

What a sore quitter!
This match was exactly what was needed to expose this trick. Sharapova creaming over her dumpy shots which barely crossed the service line and services which barely crossed the net.
Embarrassing.
