Hercules is definitely my favorite although as a kid I was obsessed with Aladdin (had a pet rat named Abu) and Lion King (had a dog named Simba). Yes, I realize I had a lack of an imagination as a child.

Beauty and the Beast or The Little Mermaid.
Both Lumiere and Sebastian do it for me So tough choice, went with Beauty and the Beast in the poll.

Re: What is your favorite Disney movie from its golden era (late 1980s - late 1990s)?
Aladdin! Favourite all time Disney film is either Aladdin or Robin Hood.
I never really liked the Lion King. Too soppy and sentimental even by Disney's standards.

The Little Mermaid.
Saved the damned franchise and launched the Golden Era.
And for the record, was the first album of any variety I ever owned.

All of those are great but I say Lion King is the best. I watched it like 10 times in the cinema back in the days
