Best Gay Film/Movie
OK I just got my DVD 'Imagine Me & You' in the mail and I'm watching it, and like it so far. I hope that Rachael goes with Lucy in the end, or I'll be a little pissed. Anyways, being bi, and for the most part lesbian (because it's been ages since I felt anything for a man), I was wanting a few good movies to watch. I own Imagine Me & You since FedEx brought it by today, and I also have Brokeback Mountain (thanks to Nathan ). Plus I have seen Better than Chocolate, Lost and Delirous and Kissing Jessica Stein, and I liked Kissing Jessica Stein. But is there any others someone can suggest? I pretty much have to buy them, because no where in this homophobic community will put them in the video stores to rent. So suggest away!

It's been years since I saw it, but I remember Ang Lee's "The Wedding Banquet" as being very good.

Tipping the Velvet is nice too, but less than Fingersmith..
Both are from the novels of Sarah Waters..
And Fucking Amal..

I like 'Brokeback Mountain' and 'No Night Is Too Long', but I have watched very few gay films so far.

Pasque Rien? I have seen this film, but i didnt really pay much attention to it. Apparently most gay men have seen it and rave about it.. but maybe thats because of the rather nice sex scenes in it?
Bent - I like this film, rather sad film about the treatment of gay people in nazi germany. And it has Clive Owen as lead actor, one of my favourite actors.
Transamerica was the latest gayish film i saw, kind of heart-warming-ish film.. And i like felicity huffman too.

I see what you mean. They wanted me to do a sequel to "Backstreet" in the 70s where Rae tires of men and turns lesbian, but I didn't think my fans could take it with me making it with another broad on screen, even if it was all faked-up with mirrors. I don't mind playing a hardened death-row killer, an adultress, an alcoholic (three times), a tramp, or even an ape, but I do draw the line at playing it gay!

Well that was the kiss of death for your career back in those days. I heard that Joan was going to do a lesbian scene but when they went to film it she had so much botox done that day, her face couldn't move so it looked like the other broad was making out with a mannequin with a joan rivers mask on.
