Kerber würde bei einer Niederlage in Peking auf 5225 Punkte kommen. Errani hat nach Peking 4855 Punkte und würde selbst bei einem Titelgewinn in Moskau (470 - 125 = 345) nur noch auf 5200 Punkte kommen. Wobei theoretisch wäre das doch noch möglich, wenn Errani in Linz oder Osaka eine WC bekommen sollte. Man muss eben noch abwarten, wer wo noch eine WC bekommen wird. Errani hat ja keine Einschränkungen bezüglich der kleinen WTA-Turniere wie z.B. Kvitova, Stosur oder Li.

Also eigentlich können sowohl Li als auch Errani nur noch vorbei, wenn Errani für Linz/Osaka und Li für Moskau jeweils WCs annehmen.

Nach diesen Aussagen Lis kann man Angie denke ich gratulieren.

Völlig sinnlos ein Mittagsschläfchen im 2. Satz. Der 1. Satz war bis auf den Aufschlag absolut klasse, im 3. Satz sich dann Wozniackis Pusher-Spiel aufdrücken lassen, aber wenigstens reingebissen und gewonnen.

Ganz guter Sieg, am Ende nicht gerade sehr überzeugend, aber immerhin.
Angie hat sich nach der Auszeit im zweiten, im dritten Satz viel zu sehr auf lange Ballwechsel eingelassen und sich durchgewurschtelt.
Irgendwann muss der Akku ja mal alle sein.
Wieder in einem Halbfinale bei einem grossen Turnier.

Aber auch das Viertelfinale heißt ja schon: Soll erfüllt, da gehört sie als Nr. 6 hin. Mal zurückgelehnt und das Gesamtbild betrachtet, spielt sie eine absolute Bombensaison.
