I think that she can beat Morita but Kerber is a mighty tough challenge. Kerber is a master of retrieving, counterpunching and consistency. I think it's a tough ask for Sorana and most likely I see her burying herself in a mountain of errors.
I also might point out this might be due to fatigue; it's not easy going deep into one tournament and having to play another one in a different country in a span of less than 48 hours. Hopefully she can plan her scheduling better.
I have the same opinion. In fact from the moment I saw the scheduling of Tokyo I had some doubts about this match.
If she hasn't drawn Morita > no central court > rain postponed matches > playing Monday > more chances.
This time Sorana really has an alibi.
