Genie that's bad  I guess the curse of different girls winning the Grand Slams played a part  She really shouldn't be playing juniors anymore anyway. I guess she's finished with it now  |

How long did Genie wait between 1st and 2nd round?
It's not a big deal. This was her last junior tournament. She's playing with the big girls now.

Duval is a great talent, this was supposed to be a tough match for Bouchard and I'm not surprised that she lost.

Not a surprising result for me. With the success Genie has experienced in the last few months playing ITF and WTA tournaments, I can't imagine her heart was in this, her last junior tournament. I am sure she would have liked to have advanced further in the draw, but now can proceed on to the pros for good. Quebec City and then Asia! |

Duval played Clijsters in the 1st round of the women's draw, so that experience seems to have helped her a lot.
