Sharapova's hitting partners

it looks like her hitting partners for hardcourts or grasscourts don't satisfy contemporary standards of women tennis.... Masha looks like she has never faced anybody who hit the ball early and hard, she loses much time to get accustomed to Lisickis, Pironkovas etc ... absolutely not ready and having to reset her game during the match

Maria's readiness to play at her best at the beginning of the match has nothing to do with her hitting partners.

Re: Sharapova's hitting partners

Anyway I saw her live lot of times, especially training and its kinda true that her hitting partner (who is such a kind person though) is really nothing special

Re: Sharapova's hitting partners

But she hired Volchkov to be her permanent partner because she liked how he was hitting the ball.

Re: Sharapova's hitting partners

She should vary her hitting partners, because otherwise she will be losing Serena 6-0 6-1 perennially....

I liked Cecil Mammut for the clay season, but after it Masha is playing on grass and hard courts even worse than after shoulder surgery in 2010.... Now just return ball early and hard and MAsha is useless with her defensive topspins or UE....
