It's been rusty since winning the Olympics I think that was her real goal this year.

I get the vibe that Serena is past the point in her life where she cares about being the most endorsed athlete and that's why we haven't heard much about this sort of thing. I'm sure she gets a lot from Nike, whatever the contract is. Having won back to back slams though, her agent would be bad at her job if she didn't try to land another deal or a payrise from Nike.
