USOJ QF: (12) Anett Kontaveit upsets (1) Taylor Townsend, 64 64
Not surprising. Taylor had a 2:0 h2h against her coming into this match. Anett, from the scoreboard, had a serve that was on fire, and Taylor could do nothing with it.
If form holds, Anett will lose to whoever becomes champion.

Anett
I hope it's the case of third time lucky for her in this semifinal.

So Taylor had a 2-0 winning record or an 0-2 record? Not clear from your comment.
I'm sorry Taylor lost, but as we've seen, it is so difficult for these juniors to win multiple junior slams lately. Hope she can continue to improve her game. USTA can suck it!
Good luck to Kontaveit in the semis.

Yeah, typo. Taylor hadn't lost a set to Anett in two meetings, both this year. She defeated Anett on her way to winning the AO.

Anett!!!
I was so nervous when I woke up this morning
This time I think she has a much better shot at the final (Duval instead of Bouchard or Beck) and I really hope she makes it
This surface suits her game
I think it's so unfair that reaching 3 GS SFs in Singles and won't put you in the Top 10
Also winning a GS gives you 500 points and Runner Up gets 180
And that All rounds except winning in some whored up GA in Brazil or Mexico which Kulichkova and Danilina won count the same is GS

It's not even half.
And I don't know if she will be as good asKanepi
She is mentally tougher but whether she has as much game or control is unknown
