Re: US Open 2012
Kim was already generating much more power and moving much better than in London. Good signs!

Re: US Open 2012
Hopefully Mike will let her win since she has never won a mixed doubles title before.
Kim is third up on Arthur Ashe tomorrow after Azarenka/Flipkens and Isner/Malisse. Big day for Belgium on Ashe tomorrow!

Re: US Open 2012
This is it I really wanted her to lose to a big name.
But I should not be complaining right now. Thank you for all the wonderful memories Kim.

Re: US Open 2012
I had a bad feeling before the match - all the Belgians lost today. Once Kim lost that first set, it never looked like she could take the match back. I have to admit Robson played very well though, especially on serve...
Isn't there a smilie for a group hug? I think we need one.
Well, she gave us wonderful times, and lots of short nights - at least that part I will not miss
And let us hope she can do well in one of the doubles competitions, to delay the inevitable definite goodbye...

Re: US Open 2012
I feel empty and heartbroken, but I'm glad she went out in a crazy, tense, superb match. She wasn't the player anymore she used to be, but she showed us why we all love her so much.

Re: US Open 2012
Goodbye Kim. Shed a few tears after this loss.
Gonna miss her. Thanks guys for the memories. Had a great time chatting here for the last 9 years? Been a long journey.
I'll never support any other player like I've supported Kim.
Sad to see that her send off was quite anticlimactic but that's life.

Re: US Open 2012
Havent posted here in years. But I cried like a baby. Seeing Brian in the stands trying to hold himself together made me cry even harder.
It been 12 years of joy, nerves, heartbreak and everything for me. It's been a great ride. I'm so proud of all that Kim's achieved, and the person she is. I'm sure she'll enjoy her life post tennis, with the whole family. And for that, I'll be happy for her and for everyone. That's all you can ask for.
Long but satisfying journey. Thank you Kim.

Hi Janice!
Remember when we flew all the way to HK to watch Kim?
That was pretty crazy.
Strange to see Kim being so calm while I'm crying. Lol

Re: US Open 2012
Proper place to end Kim's career but certainly not the proper stage of the tournament.
Too bad. Kim played some at times awesome tennis but it just wasn't enough against an on fire Robson.
Thank you Kim for everything though.
Such a weird feeling thinking this is it. This is it.
But what a career and what memories we've got!

 hi SH.
LOL. of course i do. i saw your blog post on that trip
I was surprised she kept it together so well; i thought she was going to burst into tears, like when she farewelled at AO2007. And I didnt expect myself to cry so hard, but I did. I honestly thought the end would be on Friday against Li Na. But what can you do. That's tennis
