"Of course it's to try and win. My mindset is not any different," Clijsters said. "I haven't played many matches or tournaments this year and physically I believe I can do it.
"I've trained hard. I'm in maybe the best shape that I have been in. I'm not worried physically that I'm not ready to do it."
She sounds positive. C'mon Kim!!!

"Men's tennis and women's tennis are almost two separate sports. If I was to play Andy Murray I would
lose 6-0, 6-0 in five to six minutes, maybe 10 minutes." -- Serena Williams
Well, that's one tough draw from the third round till the final...
But we have to believe that she can do it, it's her last tournament ever and I think she gives just that bit more on a tournament that she already won, like the US Open.
It is going to be difficult with a in-form Li And now with Carlos as her coach, he knows Kim well
Nice win by Kim! She admitted afterwards that she was very nervous which definitely was evident in the first set. But in the second set Kim looked pretty good. She was very nice to Duval as well. She asked her for a photo to remember her last first round! Robson is a tricky lefty next but Kim should hopefully expose her movement.
On ESPN2 they said Kim was playing doubles for more match play and mixed doubles because she wants Bob to get her a mixed doubles slam before she retires.
