yes, die Chan, die in Carlsbad Watson und Jankovic geschlagen hat und mit 17 schon einmal in den Top 50 stand.

hoffen wir, dass angie in guter form ist, dann klappt das. sie konnte sie in wimbledon schlagen, und rasen kommt villiams nochmal einiges mehr entgegen als der hartplatz.

ich will nicht negativ sein,aber ich denke sie hat so gut wie keine chance

es gibt definitiv schon mal einen lucky loser..wenn malek verliert und alle andere gesetzten gewinnen gehört sie zu den 4 bestplatzierten verliererinnen..es dürfen sogar 2 gesetzte verlieren...
es sei denn die regel hat sich bei grand slams geändert

Hier haben wirklich in den letzten Jahren selten deutsche Damen die Quali überstanden.

Spielerinnen die in irgend einer Weise vom XYZ-Auto-Team unterstützt werden und/oder Spielerinnen, die einen guten Draht zum DTB bzw. Wenn man jeden Cent zusammenkratzen muss, um wenigstens ein paar Turniere in der Nähe zu spielen, ohne Trainer reist, das Hotel nach jedem erfolgreichen Match um einen Tag verlängert usw. ist der Druck in jedem Match deutlich größer, als wenn man eine gewissen finanzielle Sicherheit hat. Man macht sich ja selbstständig, aber ohne Wirtschaftsförderung ...

sie hatte 99 aber auch leichte gegnerinnen und da waren noch 16 spielerinnen statt 32 gesetzt, sonst wäre wohl in runde 2 schluss gewesen....wobei sie 2006 ein sehr starkes match gegen kusnetzowa spielte

Klösels Karriereende war eh recht seltsam, da spielt sie quasi ihren stärksten Saisonbeginn seit Jahren in 2008, verletzt sich dann und kommt quasi nicht mehr ernsthaft zurück.

Miriam Schnitzer war sehr talentiert. Hat mich wirklich beeindruckt in Berlin 2001. Schiavone, Tauziat, Chladkova geschlagen und im Viertelfinale nur an Henin gescheitert. 2002 dann die Karriere beendet mit 25 Jahren. Komisch ...
