TBH I only thought she was messy for parts of the second, and Petrova really upped her game at the start of it. I mean the first set and after the rain delay were very impressive. She needed a proper tough win here, this wasn't a hideous 3-hour shitfest, her level dropped allowing Petrova in there but once she was she took it to Maria. A win like this should really pump her up now.

The first set was at an amazing level, if she can keep that level of play for the rest of the tournament it would be amazing Also I only got back after the rain delay when it was at 4-3. What exactly did Maria do that everyone is saying is so bad? I saw that she didn't apologise after a ball toss but other than that I didn't see anything  Was it just her come ons? |
