Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I
Slovenia just bringing one top 500 player
Srebotnik better play singles again...I wonder why Rampre, Majeric, Zec Peskiric or even Jakupovic have not been called. Kolar's form last year was simply horrendous. Plus this is hardcourts...

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I
No Klemenschits for Austria
Jurak again left out
Minella skipping again?
No Anna or Oksana for Georgia
Mitu over Cadantu, Niculescu, Gallovits-Hall, Buzarnescu, Gojnea, Olaru (doubles), Dulgheru, Bogdan (doubles)? Really?

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I
Why would any of those Romanians except Niculescu want to be 4th behind Cirstea, Halep and Begu and waste a week doing nothing there

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I
I thought that they'd put in Niculescu even though Mitu is impressive (won both Lagos beating Bratchikova and Simmonds) because her and Begu are a good doubles team
Really hoping for Sasha/Azarenka as they are both by far the best Doubles players

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I
Kremen and Sasnovich won Belarussian qualifications to Fed Cup team. Dzehalevich, Pekhova didn't play.
Shame Mervana is not in Bosnian team

yeah, but Linette was nominated as well, Marta is above her and still:
Kania <<<<<< Marta
only because she was vulturing ITFs last season and is higher in the ranks doesn't mean she is the better player...
Marta at least tried in WTAs and GSs
