The two brightest young talents on tour, shame they have to meet in round one. I get the feeling that the cross court forehand will be the crucial shot of the match for both, aiming for their opponents weaker backhand wing. Laura is going to have to utilise her left handed serve to the max.

Was hoping that a kind draw would unfold for Laura so she could gain some momentum before Aus Open. Evidently not. Although if she can get past Stephens it looks good for a deep run.
