Oh well, just all the more motivation to get back to another final ASAP and win. Need to improve consistency, esp. on the serve, which match practice can only help.

Re: Laura Robson: The Silver Medal Years 2012-
What makes this so annoying is that she should have won! But the same could be said for Hsieh and her 5 match points in the 2nd.
It's just sooo frustrating But it has been a great week

Re: Laura Robson: The Silver Medal Years 2012-
Important thing is that these days Laura's proving, at last, how good she is. She has all the time in the world to win tournaments.

Re: Laura Robson: The Silver Medal Years 2012-
When's Laura going to get her own board? I think she's more popular than anne by now.

http://www.tennisforum.com/showthread.php?t=342165 chains via a number of closed threads (look at last posts) to here http://www.tennisforum.com/showthread.php?t=439739. Which makes things clear as mud. "Rules are rules" says Jerriy, but what are the rules?
Apologies in advance if I'm helping stir this whole thing up again. Whatever your opinion, I doubt Laura qualifies for one under the current regime, even if it did get liberalised a bit after last year's Kvitova debacle.

Re: Laura Robson: The Silver Medal Years 2012-
Still a great tournament.
This week she showed again how really good she is and that's what matters right now. Titles will come.

Laura more than meets the second criterion in hilarious fashion (Laura's gotten about 1050 posts in her threads this year, Kerber 1112 in her cheering thread). If popularity/traffic was the key factor in giving out subsections Laura should (and probably would) already have one. However, despite this awesome run she's been having, Laura hasn't got the tour credentials to warrant a subsection. Maybe this time next year, but certainly not now.
Anne will lose her subsection before Laura gets one. She doesn't get enough posts to justify keeping it.

Re: Laura Robson: The Silver Medal Years 2012-
When we start getting 10 pages worth of comments on a daily basis in Laura's thread we can start thinking about a subforum. At the moment it would just be an inconvenience, just like Anne's forum is an inconvenience. I vote to remove Anne's forum and not make any new forums. I hate webforums that have lots of empty forums/categories instead of a few busy ones.
