Weren't people complaining last year that Rih always gets snubbed at the VMAs? Or was that a different award show? Anyway she has a gazillion noms now, even after calling MTV a bunch of cunts not so long ago.

The One That Got Away should be Katy's nom for Best Female Video and not Part of Me. I hope MIA or Gotye wins VOTY because those videos were actually really good.

Probably the song more than the video.

I mean as much as I find Rihanna completely void of any sort of real musical talent, it was a fucking catchy song.

I still enjoy hearing it when its on the radio.

How did "Someone Like You," "The One That Got Away," and "Marry the Night" all miss out

. They were all very good. Hopefully Gotye wins although I do think WFL was the video of the year…

I never understand the nominations. How can Wide Awake possibly be Video of the Year and somehow not be Best Female video?

The VMAs are a joke in terms of actual achievements. The show is just a fun spectacle.

Well I know as a Gaga fan that I actually don't care that she wasn't nominated. She said she wasn't attending this year weeks ago so I didn't really expect her to be nominated.

I'll probably still watch the show, but in passing and not actually to watch it.

Well you may not, but your fellow stans obviously do because the made 'VMAs are nothing without Gaga' a trending topic on Twitter and they've said she was the main attraction for the past two years

Well I'll definitely agree 2 years ago the VMA's were pretty much all about Gaga just like 2009 was all about Beyonce, 2008 was Britney. Last year was supposed to be all about Katy Perry, but she didn't sweep all the awards, but still did well.

Last year was kinda just a clusterfuck.
