That was a crazy 4-4 game. But a good sign that down 1-3 in the 3rd she fought it out and at the end Sam cracked a little.
Thats how she used to win. Hanging in there mentally for hours

The Babylon project was our last best hope for peace. A self-contained world five miles long, located in neutral territory. A place of commerce and diplomacy for a quarter of a million humans and aliens. A shining beacon in space, all alone in the night. It was the dawn of the third age of mankind, the year the great war came upon us all. This is the story of the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2259, the name of the place is Babylon 5. (John Sheridan: Babylon 5: Season 2: The Coming of Shadows)
Well played Caro. Really good win, controlled aggression and her movement as good as when she was #1. And Stosur was a player that beat her and was always a threat to her when she was #1. I missed the 1st 2 games of the 3rd set and feared the worst at 2-0 down and on her serve. So so happy for Caro.
Anyway a really good match. Title #20. I am so glad she played the Kremlin Cup.
