Re: London Olympics 2012
Woohoo! She played really well. It was a very smart match from Kim. Her backhand looks great. She is gaining confidence in her serving I feel. She'll have to play a little better and sharpen her returning in the next round though. Come on Kim!!

Re: London Olympics 2012
Some good tennis from Kim! Not excellent but she did well.
Still think she can improve her footwork though.

Re: London Olympics 2012
Maria next up. I remember their last match like yesterday. What an amazing comeback it was by Kim.
Give your best effort Kim. Please win.

Re: London Olympics 2012
I live in New York City and our largest radio station Z100, were giving away tickets to Arthur Ashe Kids Day and they were naming some of the tennis players that would be there and they said Kim but... the DJ said her last name so wrong. She said Clijsters like... Clitsters... CLIT! I just about died.

Re: London Olympics 2012
So glad that Kim is in the quarterfinals And that she'll be playing against Maria. Looking forward to that match & hopefully Kim can come away as the winner & get to the medal rounds. One step at a time.

Re: London Olympics 2012
She lost 6-2 7-5. Just not good enough today.
I am not sad that she lost today. I am sad about the fact that there is only one tournament left.

Re: London Olympics 2012
Kim's inability to move properly gets maximized on grass, the result was kinda expected. At least she lost to Maria! It was a win-win situation for me, so I'm not as sad as I was after Wimbledon.
I agree with Hashim., it sucks much more that there is only one tournament left. I will cry like a baby
Kim will be #29 next Monday, so she will probably be seeded at her last tournament. But 25-32 get 1-8 in R3

Re: London Olympics 2012
I really believed she could get a medal the way she played those first 3 matches...
today Maria was serving and playing too good, and Kim wasn't playing good enough...

Re: London Olympics 2012
somewhat expected, but still dissapointing. I do think it came down on Kim not playing well enough, Maria was good but not that good.
I do wish she would play at least one warm up in the hard court season...
