Re: Off Topic....Anything Goes vol2
I would give Maria a better chance on faster I think. On slower surfaces Vika's lack of a kill shot is less exposed. Except on clay but only because her movement is poorer on it.

Re: Off Topic....Anything Goes vol2
Perhaps, but it would also give Maria more time to set up her own shots which considering her successes on clay works to her advantage I think. But Vika will always be a tough nut to crack on any sort of hardcourt because even though she doesn't have a killer shot, she hits the ball reasonably hard and consistently deep and she puts lots of pressure on Maria's service because she's arguably the best returner in the game.
But anyway, we will know soon enough. Let the games begin.

As for Vika vs. Maria on hc, in this spring I would tell you Vika in 2 ( ) but now I want to see a) how Maria recovers from her (???) stomach virus and how Vika plays on hc, since she's not as undefeatable as she was in the first part of the year (AO, IW and middle-east tourneys).
I think it would be a close match in this moment anyway.

Re: Off Topic....Anything Goes vol2
The IW match wasnt THAT one sided, many games went to deuce, Maria started well then... hmmm... I think she was still suffering after the AO final but now, with the stuttgart confidence, it will be pretty even, both can win IMO.
If this rivalry becomes one sided like the maria-serena one, I can see Maria retiring before she's 30

Re: Off Topic....Anything Goes vol2
I agree that Maria's Stuttgart win will help her psychologically against Vika, but the main key to that win was Maria's impeccable serving, and the biggest question mark is if she can repeat that against Azarenka outdoors.

I have no idea.

The horror! Honestly, I'd put vika winning slam #2 the last, since she's maria's main rival.

Woz. Just to make GM explode and also because she dealt with all the commentators being c**ts about her not having one when she was No.1
I want her to win USO this year, if Maria doesn't, just because I feel like she deserves it, she's trying hard to change her game, and even though she acts a little bratty every now and then, she was a really good ambassador for the sport too.

C and B won't be minded. I mean if Sam, Fran have a slam, why not Woz!
Vika is very talented I think she will definitely have Slam No.2 sooner or later.
Where as Aga winning a major  {dies}

It just realised how much of a hit magnet Timbaland was in 2006/2007. Loved his music from that period of time.

Timbo's more recent music definitely isn't that good. His urban beats were amazing though.
Why Max Martin?

Max Martin has managed to roll out numerous chart toppers for the past 15 years.
I just love his stuff.

So. Ivanovic just got double bagelled, she won the french after Maria...
Venus won Wimby and lost 2 and 3 to Aga.
Serena, I'd start running.

As much as I'm happy for Roberta, I can't stop feeling bad for Ana. That was so so bad, I wonder what went through her mind?
