Re: Kimbledon 2012
Kim is on third match tomorrow, court n°1, after querry-raonic ( to finish, score 1 set all, 3-3), and Maria's match. Start time 1PM.
Come on Kim!

Re: Kimbledon 2012
The conditions were really tough but she won by retirement from Vera. 6-3 4*-3.
It is really hard to deduce anything from the match but whats coming up is going to be difficult. Kerber seems to be in great from.

Re: Kimbledon 2012
phew, tricky with the wind!
should have gon up 4-0 love in the 1st set, with several breakponits (especially that easy volley!!)
too bad for Vera, but a win is a win

Re: Kimbledon 2012
Kim improved her game a bit against Vera. I was glad to see that. Although towards the end you could tell she was losing just a tad bit of concentration, but not enough to worry me. There wasn't a point in the match where she was really down. I'm pretty sure Kim would have closed the 2nd set off if it had continued.
Now Kerber is playing well which will make things interesting indeed. I'm looking forward to it

Re: Kimbledon 2012
Kerber will be tricky. Kim did not look very good today but with the wind it's hard to judge. Kim will definitely benefit from two days of rest. Judging by her post-match comments, she is well aware of the trickiness that awaits in the fourth round.

Re: Kimbledon 2012
Kim on Nadal being upset by Rosol:
"I just wanted Nadal to win and come back. I think he did everything right to try to stay in the match, especially in the fifth set. But the guy played incredible. I'm curious to see how he's going to play [against Philipp Kohlschreiber] because a lot of times he looked a little bit arrogant out there. So I wonder how he'll react in his next match, if he can stay grounded, keep his feet on the ground, and try to keep that result going. Nobody cares too much. You can beat Nadal, but if you lose the next round ... I'm going a definitely watch him tomorrow and see how he will play."

Re: Kimbledon 2012
Kim-Kerber is put on court 3. Strange decision. I'm actually very nervous about this match, although Kim should have a field day with the Kerber serve.

I am so nervous. I don't want her last match to be on court 3.

My thoughts exactly! How come Radwanska and Giorgi got Court 2? Hmph. Kim will really need to be sharp but hopefully these two days of rest will do her a world of good. Come on Kim!!!!
