Pironkova stands between Maria and the quarters. Maria should win that and I expect her to reach the final. If she doesn't play Serena, I believe she will win. If she does play Serena it will be harder but she will be have to be at the top of her game, if she is she will win

Tricky little draw to start things off for Maria... everyone knows Pironkova's history at Wimbledon, and then there's potentially Razzano (who did one of the single greatest deeds in tennis history last month) after that. Definitely the opposite of what the start to the French Open was like.

^ I agree with what you said about Razzano, I think that could potentially be Maria's toughest match in the first 4 rounds. As bad as Serena played, Razzano really did play legitimately well in that match, and her game is MUCH better-suited to grass than to clay...
