Already a thread for Wimbledon?
I'm still celebrating her Roland Garros win

Well, it's a nearly tragic story involving a sneak attack on the virtue of the SS Forum which was narrowly defeated by our very own Trih, who was quick thinking and nimble enough to lead a Grass roots counter attack to victory! She gets the first bit of Glory in the Grass.

Maria needs to be nimble, only 2 weeks break between the end of FO and beginning of Wimbledon.

Re: [Wimbledon 2012] What does Moo eat? Grass!
I don't really know what my expectations for Wimbledon are.
I mean, for so long now, I've just wanted her to win another Slam. Any Slam. So for Maria to now be in a position to win two in a row, its kinda feels odd.

But I am really excited for Wimbledon. Hope Maria will show some great grass court form this year and go deep into the draw

Re: [Wimbledon 2012] What does Moo eat? Grass!
You bishes opened a Wimbledon thread already? The french as a tournament hasn't even finished yet
Anyway at Wimbledon we definitely won't have Maria and Serena in the same Quarter of the draw as Serena will be pushed higher in the seeding by the All England Club for sure! Top 4 #4 at least and that one back in Poland will be bumped down.

I would love to see them in opposite halves. What's sure is sure I expect Serena to bring her GOAT tennis to Wimbly. She had plenty of time after her RG first round exit Plus, the grass really suits her massive serves and powerful groundstrokes where she can finish points with two or three shots... I would love to see her face Petra in the semis, that should be interesting in my opinion. I expect Petra to fully upgrade her game for Wimbly. The grass suits her style, plus she is a defending champion after all, isn't she?
