It is her stamina day after day that is her main problem. On a given day she could probably beat anyone, but be unable to keep that standard up. IF she does poorly at Wimbledon, Olympics and USO, she will probably retire along with Kim.

It's hard to imagine her body holding up through 7 matches, but as she continues to learn about how to manage her syndrome, who knows how far she can get?

She'll win at least one more major if she plays until 2016. It'll be just like in 2005 at Wimbledon. I still wouldn't want to play Venus in early rounds of ANY grand slam.

Let's be realistic. Virtually everyone predicts that in 2013 Serena, Azarenka, Sharapova and/or Kvitova will dominate the slams. And if someone other than those four would manage to win one there are more obvious candidates than Venus at this point. Time is running out anyway, but sjogren's syndrome is an even bigger obstacle. She says herself that one day she feels fine while the next she may feel like shit. The odds that she will feel fine for two weeks in a row are not that big. I can still see her having a good run here or there and in the process taking out a big gun, but going all the way is too much to expect from her. It would be a great story and a much deserved reward for her courage, but I just can't see it happening.
