All I know is that if she reaches the final I'll bet 100 euros against her. Just in case

If ErrorNa doesn't show up, I hardly think Li will have any problem in defeating Petra. Petra ain't great on clay. and tbqh, Li is more of trouble for Maria than Petra anyway.

And Li probably looked even worse in losing a set to McHale I don't see the difference.
Li would probably choke against Petra even if she's in position to win seeing as she's mentally been a mess against pretty much every big player this year, and frankly I think Kvitova's best tennis beats Li's even on clay. She was the one who came closest to beating Na at RG last year, and that was when she was more mentally-fragile than now.

But... McHale >>> Bratchikova
But yeah, I don't know. I guess we'll see. I'd prefer Kvitova by far though. Especially since Maria seems to be in her head a little.

McHale's more consistent, I don't know about better

nah, gotta disagree here.
Li is MUCH better mover on dirt and has an actual ability to construct points as opposed to smacking the hell out of the ball and praying for it to land in...Kvitova is overrated anyway - if Maria wasn't a serveless mess in that Wimby final, she would be slamless too. Oh well, time will tell

Re: Roland Garros 2012: Moo fighting for glory on the red dirt !
Are there fans who were around TF during 2008 AO? Is 2012 RG panning out eerily similar to 2008 AO?
Maria can only play the best she can with each match, and she has done precisely that thus far.

(Cubulkova is more than capable of doing this). And I have the feeling Li is gonna do very well again. She's found her good form and is playing actually very well. On the other side of the draw we have Stosur who's been very impressive too. And we all know how Li can deal with Stosur. Don't think Stosur will choke in her second FO final

Just to give more credit to your story. In 2010 Stosur was Runner-Up and lost in 3R in 2011. Sexa was Runner-Up in 2011 and loses in 3R in 2012.

Well said! Can we pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee stop rushing??? The courts are getting windy, Maria was a bit weird today in some moments imo... And... First she has to win round 4, then her QF (Kanepi can be dangerous when she thinks she has nothing to lose)... KvittyGOAT is always tricky for Maria, all their matches (except the most important one ) have been very close. But I think it will be Li in SF. And Li, like I said, when her head is on court, she is so sharp... So nice and easy... Step by step. The other side of the draw has some names who know how to play on RG, too... Maria needs all the calm and focus of the world...

no. in 2008 maria had a tough 4R match and a tough QF match. even though she was playing well, a lot of the board expected her to lose those matches. once the SF line-up was set most people had maria as the favourite.
now its like maria is a favourite to reach the SF but who knows what will happen from that point...
