Words can't describe how happy and proud I am right now of our girl. She DID IT! As far as I'm concerned, everything she achieves in her career from this point onwards is just a bonus, because today, she made all her dreams come true. All I wanted for her is to win just one more Slam after her comeback, and boy did she deliver... She won it, nor more nor less but in the one Slam that she lacked until this day: the infamous Roland Garros, thus completing her long-awaited career Slam, more popularly known as Maria Slam Everything was perfect today. I was actually shocked at how amazing she played, she was brilliant from the first right to the last point of the match. Some of the winners that she hit today were... Especially the forehand from the run that got her the first match point, probably my favorite shot of the match Her celebration, falling down on her knees, jumping like crazy, lifting that baby like she was the trophy... Monica handing her the trophy, her speech and the fact that she mentioned Michael even though they don't work together anymore, her French And when she almost started crying while the Russian national anthem was playing, I felt my heart melting with joy.

Today, Maria Sharapova truly became one of the tennis greats (not that she wasn't before, but this just cements it even more ). Today, she came full circle from 2004 through 2009 to 2012. And I couldn't be more ecstatic for her. She inspires and motivates me and a lot of other people as well, and with this win, we are the happiest sports fans on this entire planet right now.

So, finally, all I can say at the end of the day is: CONGRATULATIONS Maria, I love you and I am so, so proud of you

And finally, bow down to the new Queen of clay, Roland Garros and tennis

After everything she's been through, to win a Slam again, and for it to be this one, it's too beautiful for words.

This means so much. She's officially a Legendary player as of today.
Number one with a Slam, her 4th one, has them all, in order no less

I never thought in a million years that Maria would be the best clay player of the year, unbeaten on red clay all year
I will treasure this win forever.
