Me too!
Can we tone done a bit with the unnecessary name calling to venus like 'hasbeenus'? Not that I mind, because people do that all the time to maria...but still please

Missed the match
Well done Maria.
I really hope she beats Venus and I think she should, unless she plays worse than her last few matches.
That's a matchup I've been looking forward too.

Re: Claypova in Rome: Veni, vidi, vici. The Sequel ...
Generous Pova spotted Ana 3 games including 2 breaks in the first set and still wins it saving like 4 setpoints. Great way to enhance the drama and get her fans' heart rates up. Not a positive post until #282. I believe 4 PovaPartisans perished from heart failure with Ana serving 5-4.
The second set was a routine thump.
I think Pova's celebration was abbreviated because Ana was close to tears.
Still, something seems a bit off with her.

It's really nice that she found a way to be Ana and in straights she could potentially play her in FO 4th round so a win was needed.

I'll probably miss her match again
Hopefully the previous two matches last 2 hours or more each.

A nice match but boy was she off in that first set especially at the first couple of games played .
Next is Venus. Hopefully Maria beats her this time .

Re: Claypova in Rome: Veni, vidi, vici. The Sequel ...
i actually thought the fact that she was off in the first few games for some reason is more of a mental thing from her...could be the FO beatdown in 2007 on clay was a little bit in her head or the prospect of playing venus in the next round!

Re: Claypova in Rome: Veni, vidi, vici. The Sequel ...
Maria will definitely feel confident going into tomorrow's match , she knows that this match will be played on clay so she definitely has the edge.
If Maria prevails tomorrow I want Kvitova in the Semis and then Rena in the final .
