It may go both ways... 2 tough sets, 3 sets or a 2 sets loss... Can't predict. The conditions are bad in Rome, it is cold and windy - and that is bad more for Maria than for Ana. I haven't seen any of their matches in Rome so I do not know anything about their form...

The fighting gear has already kicked in after that 1st rounder against an inspired McHale. Ana played better but her opponents were hardly noteworthy.

It'll be an extremely tough match! Hopefully she'll win, but I'm not that confident at all. It looks like Ana is playing great at the moment and clay is certainly a surface better suited to her than Maria! I still remember the thrashing she got in that RG SF!
