I think Russia will win, but I don't think they are clear favorites 
JJ said she will play and if Ana plays then it should be pretty even. Serbia will be hopeless if Ana doesn't play. Russia will probably win, but I doubt Sharapova will play since she doesn't need to for the Olympics. I think Zvonareva has to but she is in horrid form anyways so she's beatable, and on clay she's even worse. Pavlyuchenkova sucks ATM. So does Sveta. I think Kirilenko has to play in order to be eligible for the Olympics...honestly it will depend on who plays

Ana will play, JJ always play better in Fed Cup. In 2010 JJ was in bad form but she beat Sveta (who was in good form and top 5 player) and Kleybanova (for the first time in her career).
I think it will be 3-2 for Russia (2-2 after singles), but in Fed Cup you never know.

This is going to be a fun tie potentially.
The Russian team is going to be these 4 most likely: Vera, Sveta, Pavly, and Kirilenko. Vesnina is also in the running though according to Tarpischev.
Serbia has Jelena and Ana on clay. Vera is weakened on clay, Pavly sucks right now, and Sveta is in choke mode lately. Looking good for Serbian upset  |

Russia said 2 or 3 weeks ago that Sveta, Vera, Kirilenko, Pavlyuchenkova, and Vesnina were available to play. One of them would be cut, which it should be Vesnina.
Serbia has Jelena and Ana confirming. Jovanovski and Krunic are most likely playing too.
