I've added in the results of the women's singles final from 1966 and 1967. "Lawn Tennis and Badminton", the major source for these results, was no longer published after 1967. However, the Exmouth tournament appears to have continued for several more years.

I'm not sure about 1919. I'd have to check that year.

Re: Official Tournament Winners by Event

I have increased "Czechoslovakian International Championships" with 1955, 1967, a 2nd edition in 1946 and 1961, and some runners-up and scores.

I have added Budapest, the Dewar Cup, the World Covered Court Championships, and increased Dixie International, Doha and Dubai.

Re: Official Tournament Winners by Event

The Scottish Championships

The Scottish Championships tournament was inaugurated in 1878, one year after the first Wimbledon Championships and one year before the first Irish Championships in Dublin. In its initial form the Scottish Championships tournament consisted primarily of two events, a men's singles and a men's doubles. During the first six years of its existence the tournament was held indoors, on wooden courts at the Grange Cricket Ground in Edinburgh. From 1884 onwards the tournament was held outdoors.

An open women's singles event was first held at the Scottish Championships in 1886. During the first two years of this event's existence, the final match was played over the best of five sets; subsequently this match was reduced to the best-of-three-sets format. The first Scottish Championships tournament to feature a women's singles event was held at the University Field in Corstophine, Edinburgh. In subsequent years the tournament experienced several changes of venue, although most of these were located within the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.

A Challenge Round was in force in the women's singles event from 1887 until circa 1902. An asterisk (*) indicates that the holder did not defend her title in the year in question; the match in question was then an All-Comers' Final.

In its early years the Scottish Championships tournament was held mainly at the beginning of August. In later years it was held mainly in mid-July, although it was also held sometimes in mid-June.

Re: Official Tournament Winners by Event

The Keith Steele from your Exmouth event was Miss K Keith-Steele.

The Egyptian event was usually held at the Gezira Sporting Club in Cairo. The one exception to this I've found was in 1952. I can confirm all you had was correct (except a small typo with Fry's name). I've added a few finals results and other venues when I know them.

*1934 winner I Lenos was Greek.
*The 1952 event held at Nadi Amir el Said Al Riadi

1928 Lavender Letts Campbell (Ire)
1929 E. Alexandroff
1930 E. Alexandroff
1931 E. Alexandroff
1932 Lavender Letts Campbell (Ire) d Mrs Clayton 6-3 6-4
1933 E. Alexandroff
1934 I Lenos d Miss Jenson 6-3 6-3
1935 Helen Jacobs d Evelyn Dearman 6-2 6-0
1936 Billie Yorke
1937 Hilde Sperling
1938 Billie Yorke
1939 A. Curtis
1940 G. Greiss
1941 G. Michaelidis
1942 Marie Brown
1943 not held
1944 not held
1945 Mrs Brown
1946 Simone Mathieu d Vera Mattar 6-3 6-3
1947 Billie Yorke d B Venter 1-6 6-2 6-3
1948 Nellie Landry d Suzanne Pannetier 6-2 6-3
1949 Nellie Adamson (=Landry) d Annalisa Bossi 6-3 6-8 6-0
1950 Gussy Moran d Louise Brough 6-3 6-4
1951 Shirley Fry
1952 Doris Hart d Shirley Fry 2-6 6-2 6-1*
1953 Dottie Knode d Pat Ward 8-6 6-1
1954 Totta Zehden
1955 Angela Mortimer d Silvana Lazzarino 6-0 6-0
1956 Angela Mortimer
1957 Zusci Kormoczy d. Edda Buding 10-8 1-6 7-5
????
1959 Vera Puzejova d E Johannes 6-3 4-6 6-2
1960 Margaret Hellyer d E Johannes 5-7 6-2 6-2

held at least up to 1976-I have the result in the 1976 thread. The later winners were often from communist nations. Egypt was friendly to the Eastern bloc. It must have been viwed as a safe nation to send players to in order to get international experience without the fear of defecting.

That was the C. (or Cl.) Beutter Hammer winning at Napoli 1938 and runner-up at Napoli 1936 and Palermo 1938 ?
