Re: Miami. 2012
I actually thought and found perspective on it last night. At 24-25 People had written off Venus completely then Wimbledon came and.... at 24-25 Serena was in the worst shape of her career 2005-2006 but we all know how that changed around. People might say don't compare her to those two but seeing as they are my 3 favourites I am damn it Still believe she has a slam win in her!!!!

Re: Miami. 2012
Guys, I don't really think the greatest players (or even only "good" ones) are remembered for a stupid stat like W/L ratio in finals. They're just remembered for their achievements and titles.
The W/L % is just a matter of form, the important thing is for her to be ok from now on. I already said how 1 title from Aga is worth more than 3 finals, if the year would finish now she would be the 3rd player, but the year is far from over.
Think about yourselves last year and if someone told you she would have made 3 finals and be solid at #2 in the rankings, wouldn't you have been happy?
We had DFPova and UEPova, then we had SemiPova, now we have FinalPova and we don't have so much DFPova like last year. Things are getting better, slowly but better.

Re: Miami. 2012
Well, after a good night sleep, I partially got over the fact that she lost a final to Aga
Now I'm ready and optimistic for the clay season.
C'mon claypova, give us a chance to call you titlepova And take that freakin' RG already, will you?

Re: Miami. 2012
And I wasn't so disappointed yesterday as I am today. Feeling just like after Wimbledon.

I have so much to do for school that I haven't even had the time to mourn her loss I prefer it that way, tbh.

Re: Miami. 2012
i think masha will bounce back and win big titles again ; and i believe she still have at least a couple of slam left for her ; everyone wrote off roger in 2009 and none would have believed he will win the FO and regain that damn 1st spot ; so i'll believe in her till the end !!!!! anyway we had mugs like schiavone ; stosur and li na with a slam so why not maria ; lets be positive this loss isn't the end of the world ; but for sure next time aga will be in the other side of the court masha will gain rape her 7 time in a row

Re: Miami. 2012
Well I rage quit tennis yesterday and just gave myself a 36-hr tennis blackout period. In that time the Spurs won, I rage bought a new laptop and got a job... but Maria still sucks at finals

Re: Miami. 2012
Hey guys, I refrained from commenting on the final during the weekend. I'm already over it. Actually, I was over it 10 minutes after the match ended.
Anyone thinking Radwanska had anything to do with the way this match played out is delusional. So at least I can say it does comfort me that she wasn't outplayed, at all (a la matchup with Azarenka ). Can't say I'm not extremely disappointed though; she was disastrous in the final.
But anyway, chin up, let the clay season come! Hopefully she takes revenge on Radwanska 'cause that's what she'll be looking for now. I'm also hoping she defends her Rome title and ideally nabs Madrid, even though she tends to suck there for whatever reason.
DAVAI!!

Re: Miami. 2012
It's been two days but I still can't figure out how she managed to lose to ARan. (It was such a shame to put a pusher's name on the trophy!)
Maria really needs to do more than just "hang in there" the way she did in the previous rounds. Looks like she was hoping things were gonna change around all of sudden. In finals, she gotta step up to change things around. Not mentally positive as it seemed.

Re: Miami. 2012
It's been disappointing that Maria lost three big finals in 2012. However, other than 2008, this has been Maria's best start of the year and 2012 can still be Maria's best year on tour.
Go Maria, have a great clay court season starting with Stuttgart in three weeks!

I'm still paralysed with shock/shame.
I mean, Radwanska. RADWANSKA.
