Lost 2 & 1. Had a few occasions to come back from behind in set 1, with a couple of close games, but couldn't.

Babsi reached her 6th final of the year this week at 10K Heraklion. Sadly she lost to Viktoria Kuzmova 4 & 3 in the final.

This year so far: 6 finals (all 10Ks), 2 titles (in Bad Waltersdoerg & St. Poeltens) & 4 times RU

Jürgen Waber, Babsi`s coach, said that the conditions in the final were completely different compared to the days before. It was very stormy during the final. The opponent handled these tough conditions a bit better, Babsi did not play as active as the days before. Overall it was a bit like a lottery in the final. Waber said that Babsi was too cautious because of the strong wind. He said that they immediately trained after the final in these windy conditions in order to be better prepared for the future.

Barbara Haas exklusiv

Re: Barbara Haas

A very good interview. Short translation

Babsi has been coached by Jürgen Waber (ex-coach of Sybille Bammer) for 13 months. And also Sybille Bammer trains with her. Babsi says they are a big part of her success. They have a very good relationship and Babsi feels very comfortable in this team. Babsi says Waber is a perfectionist, a technical expert. They have worked a lot, but there is still much to improve she says. Babsi says she can learn a lot from him, and also from Sybille Bammer. Sybille has a lot of experience. Babsi and Sybille work closely together and are often on court together. She says it is impressive what Sybille has achieved, especially as a mother. Babsi looks up to her. And finally Babsi says that she feels she is on a very good way again now

Agree, I think Jürgen Waber and Sybille Bammer are very good for her, they can help Babsi improve her game. Babsi really has made a big step forward since she is coached by Jürgen Waber and Sybille Bammer ! Now Babsi just has to stay healthy
