Tina got a WC for a 10k ITF tournament in Vienna and reached Semifinal!
1R: Christine KANDLER (AUT) defeated Inna SOKOLOVA (RUS) 6-7(1) 7-6(2) 6-1
2R: Christine KANDLER (AUT) defeated Simona DOBRA (CZE) (3) 6-4 4-6 6-3
QF: Christine KANDLER (AUT) defeated Petra PADALIKOVA (CZE) 1-6 6-3 6-3
SF: Lucie KRIEGSMANNOVA (CZE) defeated Christine KANDLER (AUT) 6-3 6-1
In her 1st round match Tina was 6-7 1-4 down but didn`t give up! What a fight, Tina!
L.Kriegsmannova won the tournament.
The next week Tina played another 10k ITF tournament as a WC, in Innsbruck:
1R: Alexia VIRGILI (ITA) (3) defeated Christine KANDLER (AUT) 6-1 6-0
But A.Virgili reached the Final of this tournament without losing a set.

Tina played WTA Linz Quali as a WC:
1R: Zuzana Ondraskova (CZE) def. Tina 6-0 6-2
At least it was a good experience for Tina which will help her for the future.

Durch die großartige Chance einer Wild Card für das tolle WTA Turnier in Linz durfte ich heute am Center Court in der Qualifikationsrunde gegen die Spielerin Zuzana Ondraskova, Cz (WTA 179!) spielen. Meine Gegnerin war bereits 2004 in der WTA-Rangliste auf Platz 74 gereiht. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich vor dem Match sehr nervös war, da ich noch nie ein Match auf einem großen Center Court spielte.
Im 1. Satz überwog die große Erfahrung meiner Gegnerin und ich verlor diesen Satz mit 0/6. Im 2. Satz konnte ich mich besser ins Spiel bringen und machte 2 Games, ich hatte sogar Chancen auf ein 3. oder 4. Game.
Diese heutige Erfahrung, die ich machen durfte, war super und sehr wichtig für meinen weiteren Weg. Nun weiß ich, dass ich beim nächsten Mal viel cooler und erfahrener in so ein Match gehen werde!
Ich möchte mich sehr herzlich für die erhaltene Wild Card bei Frau Sandra Reichel und Turnier Direktor Herrn Michael Reichel bedanken!
