Re: Around the world - and back into Top 50!!!
I will have to check out her next match then! as long as I can find that stream!.. Pretty strange that no stream for Lisicki v Benesova in Dubai, but a stream for Monterrey...
I've only really started to watch a couple of Sorana's matches in full this year (ones at Aus Open, especially win over Stosur) and now she's one of my faves Even Lisicki made very hard work of beating Voegele, this doesn't surprise me that it was an up and down match.

Re: Around the world - and back into Top 50!!!
Sorana met Stefanie twice last year and in both occasions she won the tournament (ITF 100k on clay snd 50k on hard). Please Sorana make this a habit

Didn't see it. But it seems Sorana likes her matches to be entertaining.

Re: Around the world - and back into Top 50!!!
I try to watch it even if it is in the middle of the night here. I hope this doesn't become such a thriller like the Voegele encounter, though, however I'm armed with some coffee and heart pills...
She has actually a free ride to the semis, Mayr-Achleitner or Birnerova in the QF. Lol

This one has better quality as it is from the official Mexican program and you can practice your Spanish knowledge if you want:

Re: Around the world - and back into Top 50!!!
6-4 4-6 2-6
Beyond pathetic
All she needed to do was beat Babos and Mayr-Achleitner for 100 points
I'm so sick of this shit! Every time we think she is getting into form she plays like shit
She should've won this whole thing! Apart from Errani, there's Bratchikova, Cadantu, Arn, Dominguez-Lino, Minella, and Mayr-Achleitner left! What a joke!

Re: Around the world - and back into Top 50!!!
Lost in 3 sets to someone whose pathetic behaviour doesn't make him worth being mentioned.
terrible match, but she was clearly exhausted and this led to her usual brainless bashing style going for the fast point, but missing most.
Rest up for Indian Wells and make it better there!

The same can be said about Vinci and she lost in R2. They both were far away from their best, probably tired from the matches before and still irritated about the time shift. Sorana kept on stretching between points today, I haven't seen that from her for a long time.
And by the way, I can totally see that brat making the final or even winning here. She has a sick serve actually, if she can get past Errani, the trophy is hers...
