It seems to me that Sasha wants to close the deal but Pova won't be pressured. A cultural clash between an Eastern European male's dominance issues and an American Woman's independence issues? If Sasha wants this thing to work, he's going to have to adapt to Pova's egalitarian mindset - and wait until she is ready or retires from tennis!

IMO that ring is "returned to sender". They practically tripped over the first obstacle... Istanbul... One can wonder why... Up until the clay season everything seemed fine...
