If LI Na reaches Beijing Final and the opponent is not Stosur, she will be 100% 8th or better before YEC.

Kerber has now 5360 points
- Kvitova can only pass her, if she would play in Moscow with a WC and win the title there
- Errani can only pass her, if she would play in Linz/Osaka with a WC and win the title there + she has to win Moscow too
But that isn't possible because both couldn't win Moscow at the same time
That means Kerber has qualified for Istanbul  |

She can't top 10 ruling. Osaka i think has stosur already, for her to get in, Stosur must withdraw. And Moscow has 2 top 10 already Stosur and Errani, so she can't play, oen of the other has to withdraw.

Moscow is not one of Premier 700 tournaments, which will limit the number of top 10 players if the tournament can't raise the total prize.
Instead it is a Premier 600 before YEC, which will allow more than two top 10 players, if available. So LI Na could take a WC if she wants in case that there is some top 10/top 20 wildcard left or before Main Draw entry registration deadline as a normal entrant.

2 TOP tenner can't play in the MM's but more can play in Moscow...
and it said here, Errani is injured and can't play in Moscow...

Since Stosur lost in the 1st round of Beijing, a SF will be enough for LI Na.
Even if she lose in the next round, she will be ok unless one of Bartoli/Woz wins both Beijing & Moscow (which is very unlikely), or Stosur wins both Moscow and Osaka (Stosur 4420 vs LI 4416)

Sam Stosur's early exit in Beijing plus her own victory over the Basque girl Lara gave Angie Kerber a ticket to Istanbul. Neither Sam nor Sara (even if miraculously recovered) can now overtake her, so she's guaranteed to finish not worse then seventh.

They'll give the 'wild card' to the 8th player in the race, there's no need to pretend the 8th place does not guarantee participation in YEC.
