Sammy beat Yakimova in 2005 comfortably on carpet - and she is only 5"5' so I think that's a pretty good first round match up.
Might be a good chance to get a win over Clijsters. I would hate to see the vitriol in GM in the lead up to a Sam-Serena rematch.

You are completely right, of course.  Sadly I won't see her domination of Brisbane - barely one bar on a 3G connection here in northern NZ - forget about TV or wireless.
