Exclamation

I think Jennifer has a better chance of winning the French over Kim, but I think it will either be one of the sisters, Jennifer or Amelie.

If Hingis is fit again than:
Hingis, Mauresmo, Clijsters, or both Williams!

i think mauresmo is destined to be the next sabatini-martinez in some ways. she has the game for clay, but won't win RG. She'll win one slam, probably wimbledon.

justine is the new novotna. way too erratic to win more than one slam, but talented enough on her surface (clay) to eventually win RG.

i think dokic will win RG 04 or RG 05.

RG 03: serena williams

I'll wait to see who's healthy, who's been playing well.

Based on the last 3 Slams:
SERENA, VENUS, Mauresmo are the top contenders

It'll depend on form of course, but I think Seles should have a chance, I would like to see her doing well.

Aside from her, the only other people I would like to see producing a huge surprise would be either Pierce or Martinez.

Realistically, I'd say Kim Clijsters, Mauresmo (if she gets over her terror of playing at home) and Capriati have a better chance against the Williams at RG than at any other GS.

I can't really see anyone I haven't mentioned winning RG next year. Maybe Hingis? did she retire?

My wild guess:

Serena, Kim, Jennifer, Venus, Amelie or Monica. Quite a list!
