No, but with WTA there is no safe bet, but would say no.

Re: Will Pavlyuchenkova win a slam in her career?

If she gets in better shape and finds better rhythm on her serve I would say yes. She really could have won the French Open this year, or at least gotten to the final.

Nastya will for sure be a multiple slam champion doubtlessly.

OK. If you say so/really believe that/don't think that's possible?

As far as Pav's; who knows? I'm sure she'll have her chances. She's already made two Slam quarterfinals (I think the French). And she's young, though overweight, but very talented.

We'll see?

Re: Will Pavlyuchenkova win a slam in her career?

I totes see her winning RG at some point in the near future. If anything, it'll be a Myskina like flash in the pan, but she has the game to do it. She just needs to stop choking to the likes of Mancesca

I'd like to see it happen, but I don't think it will.

I highly doubt. Not even Maria can win a Slam without a serve, let alone Pavs

Eh, if she were to win a Slam it would make her more of a Na-type player: streaky, but everything stuck together for two weeks.

Her footwork needs a ton of work, though.

I can see Pavlyuchenkova & Alisa Kleybanova winning a GS. hoping Alisa get well soon

Re: Will Pavlyuchenkova win a slam in her career?

She absolutely has the talent; like I was saying in another thread, in my eyes she's definitely the second-best talentwise of Generation Suck, behind only Kvitova. She has the game to win every Slam other than Wimbledon. But it remains to be seen whether she'll ever put in the work required to get anywhere close to her potential. Next season is going to be crucial for her, she really needs to take a big step forward.

Re: Will Pavlyuchenkova win a slam in her career?

I give her a 50/50 chance. To win one she needs to get properly fit and work on her serve. She certainly has the potential if she is really wants it. As others have said RG is the most likely, followed by AO. Don't think she has the game for Wimbledon.
