There was an australian player Norma Marsh born 13 January 1936.
Norma Ellis and Norma Marsh are the same person? And if they are the same person, Marsh was her second husband?

I think that they are seperate people. I have both Norma Marsh and Norma Ellis Nethersole playing in the 1957 Victorian Championships. Norma Marsh was from NSW and Ellis from Victoria.

No Ellis and Marsh are different people (Norma was a very very popular Aussie girl's name in this era). The marriage details for Ellis/Mr Nethersole in the thread are correct.

Norma Marsh (NSW) won the NSW State Junior doubles championship in 1953 and 54, with Alison Paech and they also played in the 1954 Australian (with Norma Ellis seeded in singles at same tournament). That date of birth would be about right.

ETA - Whoops! Andrew beat me to it. Anyway, it made me notice Marsh was missing from the list of names.
