Steph's ranking has jumped again in both singles and doubles:
Singles: #677
Doubles: #274
What a fantastic effort to have come from nowhere and achieve these results and rankings in her first year playing ITFs - pretty much all without WCs. Definitely the surprise of the year, imho. Looking forward to see how high she goes next year!

Watched the highlight of the Barty match. She has a good serve, she just needs to work on her forehand a bit more  If she keeps going like this she will be Gajdosova II.

Great to hear that she plans to stick around for the summer then give it another go oversease next year. I'd say she has a decent chance at a QWC for Sydney. They like to give local players a go and there aren't too many other decent NSW girls around.
